No one should be excluded from the fun and spontaneity of an outdoor picnic. But for some people, carrying a picnic basket isn’t feasible. Or, if it’s not too heavy, maybe it’s simply too awkward. Many people, after all, like to bike into their picnic destination, and a basket makes that a bit tricky.
