Though school often starts at the end of summer, it’s never too early to start thinking about all the supplies your child will need for school.  Back when we were kids all you needed was a couple No. 2 pencils, a notebook of paper, and a binder.  However, with the advancement of technology, basic school supplies have become so much more complicated.  In addition to the basic supplies like pens, folders, and lunch coolers, your kid or teenager might need a scientific calculator, a graphing calculator, a protractor, a set of colored pencils, an apron, or even a laptop!  With all these expenses it’s becoming more and more difficult to send your child back to school with all the supplies they need.  Though some stores will have back to school sales closer to the fall, for those more expensive items you can find solid discounts around Christmas time. 

For example, if you want to purchase a new Mac laptop (the most popular laptop amongst students), you can find better deals closer to Christmas when there are fewer people keen to purchase one.
